The study of alcoholism shows us the connection of brain and behavior. The input of alcohol into the body and the brain produces many outputs in behavior. Some examples of output are impairment in judgement, impairment in driving ability, emotional reaction, over reaction, slowed behavior. The changes in behavior(output) are created by the influence of the chemicals in alcohol on the neurotransmitters and neurons.
