Picking up one theme from this morning's Minisymposium on K-12 Collaborations --the discomfort of many parents with their children's schools--we're looking together this afternoon at the ways in which changes in teaching and changes in students can lead to uncomfortable changes in the family and community. In lieu of a course in "methodology" or "applied psychology," to teach teachers how to communicate with parents, we're going to do some role-playing...
