- Science involved in both, they want to help save something, whether it's saving humans by feeding them or saving species.
- The mention of ban of DDT. Talked about in All Over Creation. Helpful for potato growth but harmful for these birds.
- When you're invested in scientific action, you try to think about what can be done whereas the Seeds of Resistence make it more about theatrics and there is much less practicality in their execution.
- One possibility (167) is that humans are constantly trying to overcome their bounds and conquer themselves, and changing the earth etc, when you're at the top, everything beneath you is integral for your survival and if you rip it out, you are endangering your own survival.
