For the project, I would like to know the history of our school’s mental health care system. According to the school website, “The Counseling Service provides assessment, treatment, education, consultation, and referral services to support the well being and functioning of BMC students. “ But of course there was no such a service when Bryn Mawr first established. How does the school gradually pay more and more attention to students’ mental health? How does the school gradually form a system that consists of advisor center, peer mentor and counseling service in the health center? Maybe I can combine the history of clinical psychology in America and some documents of Bryn Mawr.
