I've found the novel very amusing, I could relate to Yumi's childhood and early youth. Growing up and following the steps pre-set for you while you try to explore the freedom and deal with its consequences.
I like the different perspectives in the book, but I couldn't understand why did it took such a long time for Cass to look for Yumi.
I also did not understand why Geek, that helped on the creation of the Sputnik, goes so against the bioengeneering food. If he is a scientist, that developed a machine that converts oil/grease in energy without evaluating the impacts on society, how can he judge whether the bioengeneering food is bad or not without studying it for a little bit longer
