Accessibility at sports games

This is just a fun little post about things I took a notice to more since taking this course and working on my mid course porject.

Something I really thought about when working on my presentation was how to make it as accesible as possible. Obviously there was a lot more I could have done, but the video and the closed captions and the way I formatted my slides had a lot of thought put into them. After doing this I started noticing how they make sports more accessible, and I am not just talking about the special olympics.

This weekend I went to Madison Square Garden for the Knicks and Rangers game. I was there quite early and got to see a QR code displayed on the big screen. The QR code was a site that would provide the closed captions to the game, something I had never noticed before but I thought it was so cool!! I would love to see if other stadiums do this and if it is actually helpful and other ways they make the games more accessible!!

Anyways I thought that was pretty cool and I wanted to share it :)
