Crip Camp Movie

I really enjoyed watching this movie! I had good laughs, moments of frustration, and moments of sadness. I really liked the openeing and how they showed camp Jened. The film showed how much fun it was and how it really brought a lot of people together, how it wasn't at all like babysitting and there was mutual respect all around. This really brought me back to when I used to volenteer at an adult center with my grandpa. He used to do such a good job at making the entire center come alive. I used to watch him enter the room and see everyones faces light up. He would always play music and get people to dance, or even crack jokes with them. This reminded me of camp Jened seeing how active everyone was, how free they were, and how everyone was always included.

The crabs scene really made me laugh because of how relaxed they seemed about the whole situation. If that were to happen now in like a home people would be going crazy I feel like.

Also, seeing how long it took for the bill to be passed was crazy. The government kept trying to find loop holes which was so annoying. It was really admirable how long they stayed fighting and never gave up hope.

Overall the movie was very interesting and the ending was exciting but also pretty sad seeing how long it took and how many people passed away from the beginning of the movie.
