Final Project Proposal

Hi everyone, as mentioned in the last class I had been very sick so I was unable to post my final project proposal. I just want to reiterate what I had talked about in class for my ideas on my final project. My final project is going to an extension/expansion of my midterm project. For anyone that does not remember my midterm project focused on Peter Singer, comparing and contrasting the perceptions of Singer and I. Although my final project won't be centering on perceptions, I still want to build off of the ideas and themes presented by Singer.I want to use my final project to develop my ideas further about humanness and personhood, as well as combine what we've discussed surrounding bioethics into my final. I want to get into the discussion of quality of life, and what disabled and nondisabled people might value about disabled lives well lived . Peter singer removes emotion (how can we take this emotional aspect away from humans?) rational autonomous self aware person is a problematic way about thinking about personhood.
