I have two ideas for the teach in that follow a similar pattern by using word associations
the first idea is to give each person a piece of paper with a specific word (both some random and some that were discussed in class). They would write whatever associated word comes first into their mind and then pass the paper on to the next person, rotating around until they are back to havin their own paper again.
the second version, I would give each person a sheet with all these words (random and from class) and have them write the first hting they associate with each. We can then look at them collectively to see how varied or similar our associations are with words that have been discussed with different frequency over the course.
