This is apropos of nothing, but relevant nonetheless since I just finished my midterm project about Autism. This article is about a father with Autism who created a minecraft server ("AutCraft") exclusively for children with Autism (like his son), catering to their sensory/perception/entertainment needs.
How to Introduce a Child with Autism to Minecraft
The author goes into detail about Autistic children's experiences with video games and why minecraft in particular stands out. I love it when one of my academic interests overlaps with my love for video games; I used to really enjoy minecraft as a kid, and though I've moved on to other games since, I still remember having a lot of fun.
