Virtual Desktops and blogging

First, we had discussed "moving away from the use of textbooks." Along those lines in one of the newsletters I receive there was this special report. Here's the title:
eSN Special Report: Virtual Desktops
How virtual desktops will revolutionize personal computing

On another point: Lewis Black has a show called the "Root of All Evil" in which he compares2 disparate subjects to determine which is more evil. Last week he compared "Ultimate Fighting" and blogging. I believe blogging was judged worse. Catch a rerun and judge for yourself. I will not drone by supporting the conclusion.
