Education

Welcome to Serendip's Education pages and the myriad projects, ventures, and experiments herein.  Here you will find abundant ideas, resources and conversations; materials, collaborations, and studies: please use them; join them; reflect with and on them; and bridge via them to other teachers and learners who might share your path. Whether you are interested in one of the academic disciplines, in working with children, adolescents, or adults, in self-directed learning, in issues of mental health and wellbeing, or in teaching for social justice and change, we hope and expect there is something here for you. Enjoy!

Hands-on Activities for Teaching Biology to High School or Middle School Students

Hands-on Activities for Teaching Biology to High School or Middle School Students and its companion resource, More Minds-on Activities for Teaching Biology, are  "hands-on, minds-on", which  summarizes the philosophy we have incorporated in these activities -- namely, that students will learn best if they are actively engaged and if their activities are closely linked to understanding important biological concepts.
