Fostering Leadership
- Interwoven around weekly science activities
- Initially leaders are randomly assigned
- Frequent leader change gives opportunity to build ‘action potential’ file of norm-setter prospects.
Classroom Structure:
- 12 tables with 2 students per table.
- Six groups of 4 students each (including the leader) are formed by joining two proximate tables.
- Student seating and group leaders vary throughout the year.
