Daryl Thompson is an artist inspired by hints and suggestions of the organic that peak through the largely inorganic landscape we inhabit. This juxtaposition or unsolvable paradox is at the heart of his message. And it is a message. Thompson believes that art exists as a tool to communicate about issues, from artist to audience, and hopes for interactive audience response. Fearless, rebellious, and uncompromising, Thompson brings optimism, energy, and innovation to a traditional art form. For over twelve years Thompson has been devoted to relaying his message of instigating personal growth and change in an audience through displaying the methodology behind his own path to artistic maturity. An unstoppable force, Thompson’s work continues to challenge convention in every way. Through great adversity come the first pieces in a lifetime of challenging and complex work.
