Initiatives
Courses - The Center plays a major role
in supporting new undergraduate courses.
Education - The Center is involved
with many initiatives related to issues of science education.
Environment - The Center has been
and continues to be an active supporter of student/faculty/staff
groups developing programs on the environment.
Fellows - The mission of the Center
is to provide support to faculty exploring new realms in science.
Faculty may apply to the Center for financial and other support.
Mental Health - The Center
has developed and maintains a web resource which encourages productive
conversation and scholarship about issues of mental health, both
general and specific.
Women, Gender and Culture -A recent initiative
of the Center is focusing on the roles of women and gender in science
and culture.
