Fridays in the Lab
This program brings selected high school science classes to the
campus on four Fridays during the academic year for interactive
laboratory demonstrations and short experiments. Faculty in the
biology, chemistry, computer science, and geology departments provides
laboratory experiences in the areas of neurobiology and behavior,
biodiversity, water chemistry, and robotics.
During each visit, students eat lunch in the dorms, take tours
of the campus and science facilities, and break up into groups each
of which will participate in one of the four project areas. Over
the course of the year, every student has a chance to experience
each of the project areas.
A class from Delaware Valley Friends
School is scheduled for 2005-2006.
