Ecological Imaginings 2015
Jonathan Wells, "Boston Basin"
Welcome to Ecological Imaginings, an English, Environmental Studies, and Gender and Sexuality Studies
course @ Bryn Mawr College, in which we are re-thinking the evolving nature of representation,
with a focus on language as a link between natural and cultural ecosystems.
This site is a place for conversation, for thoughts-in-progress, where our thinking aloud with one another can help us all. You are writing primarily for yourself, for others in our course, AND for others you might or might not know: for the world. This is a public forum, so people anywhere on the web might look in, and your in-process thinking can contribute to their in-process thinking as well, to the evolution of the world community that your ideas are helping to bring about. We're glad to have you along, and hope you come to both enjoy and value our shared explorations.
