Intersubjectivity ... and Culture (loop 3) |
|
Culture and intersubjectivity are not parallel to individual stories but grow interactively out of them
- Intersubjectivity and culture provide an additional mechanism both for testing existing stories and for creating new ones
- Diversity is an asset, rather than a problem, for both processes but most particularly for the second
- Valuable transdisciplinary work includes
- Encouraging the development of new stories
- Comparing/contrasing conflicting stories without quickly dismissing any
- Noticing patterns across the stories of different disciplines
- Conceiving stories as yet unconceived and testing those
