Future reading
Suggestions from the group: Bob Dylan (Chronicles), Ramachandran (New Yorker article, others?), Oliver Sacks (Uncle Tungsten: Memories of a Chemical Boyhood), Joseph Heller (Catch-22)
I'd like to add: Donna Williams - she has a series of autobiographies about her experiences living with autism, including vivid descriptions of her inner world. Titles include: Nobody Nowhere, Somebody Somewhere, Like Color to the Blind, and Everday Heaven.

Autism in Fiction
Hello - a lurker here that may have something to contribute... Sorry if these have been mentioned somewhere before.
There are a couple of fiction books in which the protagonist is autistic which may be of interest - either assuming that the authors did their research, so providing another window on the inner world of those living with autism, or as a second order study of public perception of autism and efforts of those in the infra-red of the autistic spectrum to understand those in the visible.
