VoiceThread was designed for online collaboration and, to some extent, peer-editing. It enables students to share assignments involving multiple types of media elements (written text, audio recordings, video, images), and it displays those elements in a manner that is easier to view as an integrated whole onscreen. Second, it allows users to record voice and video comments, as well as text comments. Comments are embedded in the shared elements and threaded.
