What is "mental health" really?

I spent the day today doing a million different things, and in doing each of these things I wondered whether or not being mentally impaired - whether it be a physical disorder, or emotional stress/anxiety - would impact my ability to complete the task at hand. I am still not sure exactly what mental health really is. I want to say that a mentally healthy individual is one free of any physiological disorders and also one with their emotional psyche intact. But even so I don't believe that there is a universal definition. So much in the world today is subjective, and there are too many cultures, nationalities and professional disagreements as to what mental health really is. Perhaps one's mental health is entirely unique to every individual and there is no general definition. This would make sense to me because there are levels to emotional happiness and mental stability and not everyone is on the same level. These are just a few personal thoughts but I am anxious to discuss in class tomorrow! Everyone have a good night and to those who read this tomorrow...good morning!
