I tried this too

After hearing that most of the class read these tales in chronological order, I too decided to read the second set of stories in that manner. The first time around I thought it would be beneficial to get a "feel" for the story by skipping around and acquainting myself with various sections, but I realized this was probably the wrong way of going about the assignment. Instead of switching to the ELF site I continued reading from the Harvard Collections where I read the first three stories. I did find it helpful to read the stories chronologically; I was able to gain some sense of continuity and understanding this time around unlike my first time with these stories which proved to be a disjointed and somewhat frustrating experience.
