Observation Interpretations

1. Ruby ends up with Sandy, whose job is to make copies but he makes them intentionally imperfect
3. Discussion of Patenting Life.  The professor urged Rosetta to patent her clone theory and Rosetta responds with "How do you patent life?"
The first and third observations seem to represent the struggle for individuality, and the movie seems to advocate for individuality through the distinct personalities of clones, when they were intended to be copies, the role of Sandy in making copies; trying to make each different, and then asking Ruby if he could conduct her... All of these observations throughout the movie lead to confusion among us as audience members in distinguishing the nature of their cyborg being physical or virtual because interaction occurs through the usage of the microwave and tv screens vs. Rosetta visiting them in the actual house.

2. There were both virtual and physical viruses.  Before Ruby slept with the men that she slept with, their computers would crash which was a contraction of a virtual virus which was later echoed by the manifestation of the barcode rash and impotence which was a physical virus.
The second observation points out what it means to be human and how that is modeled and manifested virtually.
