What interests me here, Karina, is your very striking notion that--since each of us is multiple, chock full of what our interdisciplinary faculty group on evolving systems has taken to calling "internal againstnesses"--the gender-neutral default "one" becomes homogenizing and normalizing. Whether "a corporeal singularity should be what is reflected in our linguistic choices when **one’s** identity may not reflect that at all" is a GREAT question.
